Support Ctrl+Z (undo) after using toolbar button

Currently if you highlight a word and click any of the toolbar buttons the operation succeeds but it cannot be undone with Ctrl+Z. The same is true is you use a hotkey, eg. Ctrl+B.

Is there any progress on this enhancement? I am having the same issue by using a custom/additional button.
