Specific sound notifications assigned to key phrases are not respected at all.

Hi,

I'd like to report that when I set a specific sound notification for individual key phrases, it always plays the default android sound notification instead of the one I assigned for each key phrases. Am I the only one to have this odd behavior ? or am I doing something wrong ? I'm using Android 8.0.0.

Thank you.

Hello,

I would like to know if this issue is currently being addressed ? if so, when will it be fixed ? It's really annoying to get the same sound over and over for any kind of message :(

Thank you.

@gemboot we acknowledge this issue but currently we're working on other things in Xabber. Can't give you any estimates on when we'll fix this issue introduced by latest versions of Android.

Ok, thanks for your reply ;) We will wait then.

Just in case you don't already know, there is an android app called "AutomateIT" that allows to set specific notification sounds (with rules) and it works fine, maybe you could check with its creator and see how he managed to do that ? Their lastest version was released more than a year ago, how come they are not affected by the new version of android in regards of sound notifications ?

Perhaps this can be solved with the now reasonably priced third party app: Tasker
