I just tested with different combinations of valid hostnames and ports, and I didn't have any problem.

Are you sure you are allowed to use the 0.0.0.0 IP address? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadcast_ip_address#IP_networking

If you use a common hostname like 127.0.0.1 or localhost, do you still have problems?

You can also try to delete the sofresh_state cookie and relaunch the bookmarklet.
