Enhance UX for ACL topic selection
When choosing topics for ACL's the input its free-text. An simple typo could mean permission issues down the line ..
The option for free-text inputs needs to remain of course..in cases where it is new clusters etc...
Can we enhance topic selection... so when an admin types in letters of topic names and/or regex patterns, it does some matching on existing topic names and provided to select topics from a list. That kind of thing ?
if we would offer users to select topics, this would always be the "exact match" for resources. But with ACLs you can also target topics by a prefix, such as all topics that start with payment-. Thus it's a little bit tricky. What I can imagine instead is to show a text below the typed in topic name that tells the user how many topics that would currently match. Not sure how helpful that would be.
I think match count would help.. it did that in cloud v1 ...(i know v1 is not Console)
