make list of image repositories dynamic not static

I'm using redo rescue 4.0.0. I boot up the system, and get to the point where it asks where to save the image file. When I then plug in my external hard drive, it doesn't show up in the list dynamically. It doesn't add a new description of that save location so I can save there. What I then have to do is reboot redo rescue with my external hard drive already plugged in. It would be nice if the list would change to show that my hard drive has just been plugged in, and to be able to choose that as a save location instead of having to reboot with my hard drive already plugged in.
