How does this feature work on Reddit?

On Reddit when you open up a post and view a comments they show you the first two replies but not all of them. On Redlib it shows all of them which makes pages extremely long for scrolling. I know you already have a feature like this but could you make it be two replies and not ten

Describe how this could be implemented into Redlib

When you view the comments, automatically show the first two replies to a comment and hide the rest of the replies under a show replies button
