Describe the bug

When I go to change the settings on the site and click save it reloads the page but instead of staying saved as checked it will restore it to default, no matter what I change it restores it to default.

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Go to 'discuss.whatever.social/settings'
  2. Click on 'settings'
  3. Check any box
  4. Scroll down to 'save settings'
  5. Click 'save settings'
  6. Check to see if the box is still checked
  7. See error

What's the expected behavior?

The box checked by the user is supposed to stay checked after the user clicks the 'save settings' button.

Wait did I do the report wrong? Noting is showing up, or is this normal/supposed to happen?

You accidentally filled in the data in between the comments, but no worries, just fixed it :)

Can reproduce it - seems like a bug in the server code responding with the wrong set-cookie header.

Not sure what that means, I am new to coding and this type of stuff, but thanks for fixing it.
