I would start with the throughput-performance profile (e.g. the oracle profile is also based on it). Regarding the "product oriented profiles" they are usually based on the knowledge base articles and upstream recommendations/documentation. Personally, I haven't checked whether there is such "official" recommendation for the MySQL. If yes, feel free to provide PR, it would be appreciated.
