Issue to track work for publishing a new release of odo at the end of the Sprint.

• Target release process start date: ~Oct 10, 2022~ Oct 5, 2022

• Errata date (when we expect the binaries to be published): Oct 11, 2022

• Release readiness doc should be completed: https://github.com/redhat-developer/odo/issues/6139

• Version: v3.0.0.

  • Bugzilla issue should target latest OCP Tools, i.e. ocp_4.11
  • Tag should be created on the release/v3.0.0 branch.
  • Merge v3.0.0 tag into main after the tag is created and pushed ~and binaries available on Content Gateway~
    • Tag can be merged even if binaries are not yet available, as long as build/VERSION is updated after and blog post published only after binaries are available
      • Since this is GA release, make sure to update the build/VERSION file (on main, after the tag is merged) - Wait for official v3 GA announcement
      • Note: Write an announcement blog post once the release is done (tracked in https://github.com/redhat-developer/odo/issues/6157)

• Once release is done, make sure link to download latest points to v3.0.0 this time (not v2.5.1): https://developers.redhat.com/content-gateway/rest/mirror/pub/openshift-v4/clients/odo/latest/

• Doc updates: v3.0.0-rc2 to v3.0.0 and v3.0.0 as stable
