No menu button on Android 5.1; need a GUI.
The only ways to open settings in TTT 1.0.16.2 on Android 5.1 I found are:
- Click a system notification.
- Click a tool tip in the app's window.
After I disabled GPS in TTT, I started getting neither notification nor tool tips.
Yea, it's an old school app. Android used to have a dedicated menu button, but that's been removed starting with Android 5, if I recall correctly.
To get around your problem, long press the square button in the main TTT screen and a menu with "Settings" should popup. On 5 Jun 2016 21:16, "aleksejrs" [email protected] wrote:

There is no square button (closest to square is the autozoom one).

That's the "last used screens/apps" button, and it never opens a menu. Long-tapping does not do anything different. For TTT, it just causes TTT to ask for the password, which then opens the map screen. That's why apps seem to need their own menu button now.
By looking around on the internet, it seems that on some phones, you need to long press the back button to get the menu up. So you may want to try that.
However, I do agree that this is a bug and I should add a menu button for use with newer phones.

From the manual from this Alcatel OT-5015 POP 3, only the Home button (circle) has two actions, and "hold" is for Google search.
