I have a similar issue with esbuild, I'd like to specify the location for the different environments in my toolchain. I use https://arc.codes and esbuild to bundle for aws lambda...
This is large enough to make AWS lambda's cold boot much slower too.
Performance isn't a single thing but I'll say js only solutions are around 500kb, while also large it's manageable.
Should this be salting the `wateryCucumberJar` so it's consistent with the pipeline example? 
If you console log the return on the require statement, what do you see?

We need a build system in place and then to convert everything to typescript (not just the templates for new parsers)
