playback on mpv doesn't save progress on Cloudstream

Steps to reproduce

Set mpv as default player. Play any video for some time. Close it and try to see if the progress is recorded in Cloudstream. Resume the video again but it doesn't save progress and will start over again.

However when playing videos on VLC, the progress is saved on Cloudstream as well.

mpv is much faster than VLC, so i prefer using it. Can you please fix this issue in next release?

Expected behavior

Playback on mpv should record playback progress on Cloudstream so as to resume easily.

Actual behavior

Playback on mpv doesn't save playback progress and cannot resume from last position.

This is not a bug, but a feature which was added to the mpv docs only 2 months ago which is why it was not implemented.

Okay would the next release focus on saving mpv playback progress and episodes watched on Cloudstream as well?

It's time consuming to see where we left off while watching dozens of series.

Even if it's in a pre-release build also it would be helpful.

I have seen your latest update "fixed mpv intent" and hope that addresses the issue. Thanks a lot.

By the way, I wanted to know how do I update the app without needing to install the providers again or manually redo the settings again and most importantly keep the watch progress.

This is because everytime I install a new version, i would have to uninstall the earlier version and I would have to redo everything all over again.

Also isn't this pre-release a version up from 3.2.4, because it's asking me to update to 3.2.4 upon install. Does 3.2.4 have this commit you made?

If you need to uninstall your pre release to update it every time then something is seriously wrong with your phone, it should not happen more than once when we switched repositories. Are you getting the pre release apk from somewhere else?

My bad, am unable to update and overwrite with new issues.

By the way i updated to latest pre-release build and now again the progress is not saved when playing in mpv.

I thought newee pre-release builds will have earlier fixes? How can I get back your previous release because i no longer have the installer.
