Extensions not loading properly after update

Open Kraptor123 opened this issue 1 month ago • 1 comments

Steps to reproduce

I’m not completely sure, but it seems like the updater might be overwriting the existing extension files during the update. When I tried to update my extensions manually, nothing happened at first and I didn’t receive any update notification, so I restarted the app. After restarting, only three of my extensions were showing.

i fixed it by waiting a little bit restarted the app and updated the plugins manually.

Expected behavior

Extensions should load properly after the update.

Actual behavior

From what I can tell, if the update fails, the files might end up as 0-byte ZIPs, so the app can’t load them anymore. Maybe the updater could keep the old files until the new ones are verified, so that if something goes wrong, the original extensions are still intact.
