Duplicate errors and autocompletion suggestions shown

For some reason I am getting duplicate items for at least the following two things:

• autocompletion (see the attached image)
• error messages when hovering (I wasn't able to take screen shot since the error overlay is hidden when I press my MacOS screen shot key combination)
