Is there/will there be a native Mac M1 build?

Mac M1 has nice enhancements with SIMD acceleration. I see the FC build is an Intel build. How much work is there to have an M1 native build? This would require OCCT (and others?) to built for M1 which seems supported. I've noticed helical paths are very slow to draw in FC on my M1 and the hope is for native M1 compilation, but also to implement M1 specific SIMD operations.
