Problem description

I downloaded (both Py 3.8 and 3.11) the Windows install file and my System with MS Defender is telling me that a Virus is detected

Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml

please double check whether this is a false positive.

win11 with all patches

ok, I was able to double check on another computer with "eset" Antivirus - no virus was found. Will unpack and check again

edit: unpacked done, checked on remote computer with eset: nothing found will copy the unpacked directory to my local machine and check again with win11 defender

edit2: After transfer to my local machine checked with win 11 defender: nothing found

looks like it is a false positive on the archive
