File Dialogue Can't See Contents of Crypttab Mapped & Fstab mounted Drive

Morning.

Using the snap installed versions of FreeCAD Realthunder. Peculiarly the --beta version seems newer than the --edge, but even so these are the versions:

Realthunder (sudo snap install freecad-realthunder --edge): Version 2023.321 Revision: 1455 (Git shallow) Release: 2023/03/21

Realthunder (sudo snap install freecad-realthunder --beta): Version 20231102.0 Revision: 38887 (Git) Release: 2023/11/02

Advice on the FreeCAD forum offered a work around for the standard version of freecad which comprised of adding a Parameter "DontUseNativeDialog" to BaseApp -> Preferences -> Dialog. The Dialog sub group didn't exist in the Realthunder branch, and adding it along with the boolean parameter had no effect.
