[Backport] Freezing issue on macs when using spreadsheets

Description and Justification

FreeCAD freezes on Macs if you try to use a spreadsheet in certain cases. This seems to happen consistently for me. The main branch has a fix for the issue. Can you please cherrypick it over and compile a new release?
