Handle AJAX API call error

If the call to the API fails, the tooltip show "Loading...". It may be good to show a message like "It was not possible to load the content." or similar to have a better feedback to the user.

Hrm, it's related not duplicated. One is 404 and the other is a 500 maybe 🙃
