CSSTransition doesnt work when button is disabled

What is the current behavior?

Previous and Next buttons are triggering CSSTransition to fire, however on first or last transition if either of the buttons are disabled CSSTransition doesnt fire. I have created a demo sandbox and the link is attached, you can observe the behaviour just by clicking on the prev and next buttons. Once you reach the end transition is no longer fired since next button receive disabled prop to be true. If those disabled properties are removed altogether from the buttons then everything works as expected. What am I missing here?

Transitions should fire no matter if button is disabled or not.

Update: This bug can not be reproduced in Firefox, only Chrome and Safari for now

I stumbled upon the exact same issue. Super hard to debug. Didn't find a solution yet.
