Text on inline SubMenu sometimes gets highlighted when expanding

This seems a little goofy, but when expanding an inline SubMenu, the text sometimes gets highlighted. We first saw this issue while using this library but I was able to recreate it on the example page while tasked with hunting down what was happening.
