as i know, AllenFang is gone ... (( and yes, with new webpack and react this amazing project very need to be forked... so far, no one has dared to take on this (((

I'm successfully using this library with React 18. The warnings raised in #1308 still occur, but they aren't an end user problem.

Has anyone forked it yet? I am interested in looking at updating the code as needed for some apps I have using this library. Will try forking and looking through it this weekend possibly
