Old electron & 28 vulnerabilities

Hi Team

First of all thanks to all of you for creating this template.

I am facing 2 issues with this template. Below are the details.

  1. I run npm i command and found 28 vulnerabilities (9 moderate, 18 high, 1 critical).

  2. Also electron version is way older than current.

Can team address these two issues ?

Thanks for bringing this up, @snahasish89. Yes, it is on my list to get to. This will likely require upgrades in all of the packages this framework uses.

Any update on this? :) At least a version of electron compatible with esm?
