I'm having trouble with the Firefox settings, I think I'm missing something. Can you give more details about the configuration?

I have copied what you say and removed everything necessary, but I can't get the tabs and the address bar on the same level. Is there anything else to do?

You have to copy this folder for one-line setup https://github.com/syylvette/Kde-Configs/tree/main/Firefox/Chrome-Oneline

After adding this in your chrome folder, you can restart firefox >right click and go to customize toolbar in firefox and drag&drop stuff like downloads button, new tab button at appropriate places.
