TTS function does not work any more

I use QuickDic 5.7.4 with EN, DE and EN-DE dictionaries on Android 13 with Google Speach googletts.google-speech-apk_20240819.02_p3.670724707. TTS doesn't work any more. I don't know whether this happened after an app or an OS update.

German and English TTS work correct with other apps.

Still an issue with Android 15. Both Android 13 and 15 here are Custom ROMs based on LineageOS.

Yes, it's eOS. But with eOS/android 10 it was working.

All I can say is that this should mean you have not text-to-speech provider installed - or at least not the data for English. I do not have any device where I can reproduce this issue (only old Custom ROMs in use here). Without a device to reproduce on, it is unlikely I can help further here. Maybe possible to find more help and information via the eOS support forums?

It definitely is installed and as said other apps work flawlessly with it.

I have 2 Shiftphone 6mq which is a 64-bit-only device. /e/OS Android 13 and iodeOS Android 15 (both are based on LineageOS) come without TTS because there is (or was) no FLOSS TTS for 64 bit. So I installed Google TTS without issues except with this dictionary.
