The device works with USB but never with BT on Raspberry Pi

Open mlgarrido opened this issue 8 years ago • 5 comments

On Raspberry Pi I can't see the device. The device is paired and connected with sixad (1 red led is enabled by default) but I can't receive any data from node-dualshock-controller and I can't list if I create a simple script using node-hid (only see USB keyboard).

Thx!

Hey @Mlgarrido can you install node-hid with hidraw: https://github.com/rdepena/node-dualshock-controller#node-hid-hidraw and try again.

My installation is with hidraw, but when I exec "ls /dev" I cant see hidraw devices, only my keyboard.

Clarification: Works with USB connected but doesn't work with BT.

Hey @Mlgarrido I will setup a pie this week and debug it. Thanks for reporting this issue.

Same issue here. Connected the controller via USB and I can see it in HID.devices(). Connected over bluetooth using sixad, output can be seen in /dev/input/js0 but doesn't show as HID device. Any workaround will be greatly appreciated!
