Can we remove simulator rewind?

@rdaly525 @jeffsetter is anyone actually using that functionality or can I remove it? It si the source of significant performance issues.

I do not use the simulator rewind feature.

Is there any way to just have it disabled by default? I think it is a cool feature. How much overhead would it actually have?
