Is VAPiD suitble for metatranscriptome virus? Or only some special Virus?

Hi, VAPiD will only work if you have access to a good quality reference, this means that it only works well for well characterized viruses that have many genomes already deposited in NCBI's GenBank. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
