`libpipeline-devel` is not available on Centos8 stream.

Is there a way to build the crap-clone statically linked? Then I can build it once on my ubuntu-machine, and just distribute it. Or have a version without the libpipeline? Or a docker-image to run it in?

I had success with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS - that maybe your best best for Docker image creation. See https://github.com/rcls/crap/pull/29 readme changes for what worked for me.
