Forced breaks: Last non-forcing prompt (before postpones are used up) is not clearly distinguishable
I like that Workrave can prompt a set number of times with activity continuing and counting as postponement before forcing a break.
In order to do any necessary pausing or settling before the forced break, it would be good if that notification were different. So, when there's a break-coming notification that is the final one (that cannot be postponed), I wish it more boldly looked different and I knew before the screen blacks out that this was going to be forced, no more postponing.
This is a good feature, I would pay money to improve it
Workrave already indicates when you get the final warning before a break is forced. In this case it displays the text "Break in mm:ss"; otherwise the text is "Disappears in mm:ss". Maybe this is too subtle. Feel free to suggest a better solution.
Oh, I see! Yeah, that was subtle enough I never noticed. That makes the fix easier, maybe just a front-end cosmetic issue.
My initial suggestion is to have a bolder thing that actually indicated number of reminders. As in "Reminders remaining: 3" and "Final reminder!"
I don't actually like the term "reminder" because ideally the break is taken at first prompt, so maybe "First prompt", "Second prompt", "Final prompt". But I don't love that either.
I do like the idea of showing how many postponements are left rather than just the distinction between final and not.
I think it would be nice if the final one had an icon or color to visually be distinct at a glance.
I might have to think more about ideal design, and maybe others have thoughts and conversation would lead to the best solution.
