The term "virtual environment" is already used by https://docs.python.org/3/tutorial/venv.html so I don't think that it a good name.

I would like feedback from @cloud-hypervisor/cloud-hypervisor-maintainers and the wider community if this is something that is desired or whether the scope needs to be different.
