Hey @pires do you need some air cover to help push the upstream PR. If so we can have Lachie from our side help out.

VK reports metrics through the metrics server api, is that what you are looking for? VK itself is a pod that looks like a node so you can't get metrics...

I believe they should go into provider specific repos.

Moving out from 1.0 for now but will work on post 1.0.
