[Shell] Launching shell command from Raycast opens two terminal windows

Open jckpn opened this issue 10 months ago • 1 comments

Extension

https://www.raycast.com/asubbotin/shell

Description

Using the Shell store plugin to run shell commands in terminal opens two terminals – an empty one and one with the script on top. I'm assuming this comes from the plugin launching Terminal/iTerm (which opens an empty window by default) and then opening a new window with the desired shell command.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Check Terminal/iTerm is not running
  2. Check Use Terminal/iTerm in the Shell extension settings
  3. Run Execute Shell Command in Raycast with any query

Current Behaviour

Two new Terminal or iTerm windows will open, one of which is empty (and sometimes hidden behind the other, use exposé to check for it).

Expected Behaviour

One new window should open with the desired script.
