1.7.2 - Auth Forward

Hello,

Per front end Auth forwarding is a very important feature coming with Traefik 1.7. What needs to be done to update this to 1.7? I've tried changing the version number in the docker file, but rancher 1.6 may no longer be supported.

agreed, auth forwarding is a cool feature on upcoming traefik version. By the moment, v1.7 is just at rc2, not stable version. To update image you could submit a PR with changes about traefik version. I don't understand that ...but rancher 1.6 may no longer be supported. Why?? I read traefik v1.7-rc2 docs and rancher backend seems still available.

I've updated and released image rawmind/alpine-traefik:v1.7.0-rc2-0 with traefik v1.7.0-rc2. I've made some test and rancher v1.6 integration is still working fine. Rancher v2 integration could be done throught k8s backend.

Awesome! It looks like I was off the mark with the 1.6 vs 2.0 support. You are right, it appears that in 2.0 Traefik uses k8s instead of the rancher api.
