Page no longer loading correctly
Since yesterday the MRU tab is not working - the rankings from World Rugby are not loading and there’s no list of the days matches
I did push an update yesterday that would only affect MRU... can you tell me what browser you're using & if possible check the developer tools to see if you're getting an error message?
I use either Safari or Chrome (on my phone) and it’s not working on either. Ah, I don't have access to test on Safari (Mac or iPhone, and Chrome on iPhone will act the same as Safari). I've pushed https://rawling.github.io/wr-calc-prev/ so you can check the old version still works/keep using it until I figure out a workaround.
@MiriamCol1 I've tried a change to https://rawling.github.io/wr-calc/ that should mean it runs hardly any of the code I added yesterday until you press the new button. Could you check whether the old functionality is back to working for you, at least up until you press the button?
Yes everything seems to be back working on Safari now. Thank you so much for the super quick response and the fix - I’m a bit of a stat nerd and your page has, for the longest time, been one of my absolute favourites. This was a bit of a fad, I don't think there are any more relevant internationals before the RWC, and I've done some other RWC-related work, so I've backed these changes out. I didn't say, but thankyou for going to the effort of registering and reporting this in the first place.
I'm going to leave this issue open as a reminder to find a way to test on Safari.
