When dates are changed in data loading after mapping, there are problems parsing them

Steps to reproduce this

Force data format of year_start from numbers to date use year_start as "bars". It only shows one bar of the YEAR 1970 (which also doesn't appear in the "year_start" data)

@MarcoValli by opening your project file, i get this viz, that seems correct to me: viz (1)

Maybe i'm missing something, were you expecting a different result?

Not clear if the issue is related to chart, app or core.

The issue arise only when data type is changed after dimensions mapping:
