Can you share an example of a large event ? Is there something specific inside DriverStats that gets too big in your observations ?

Have you looked at using the same approach as https://github.com/trinodb/trino/pull/6634 or https://github.com/trinodb/trino/pull/8171 to replace partial topN with limit ?

@Pluies do you know the reason for the difference ? Can you share a JFR profile of the run with delta.checkpoint-filtering.enabled=true and fs cache covering Delta log on the coordinator...
