Consider applying to become an OpenStreetMap US Community Project

MapSCII is super cool but it looks like development has stagnated in the past few years. Over at OSM US we've recently launched a community projects program so volunteer-run projects like this can receive institutional support. I encourage the maintainers of MapSCII to consider applying if they think it would be a good fit.
