Mouse pointer occasionally disappears for a while
ghp reports- In many places, when mouse interaction occurs, the mouse pointer disappears. When mouse is moved again, it is back. Found this when moving cursor over the coordinate display numbers, slowly. Sometimes the cursor is away in between.
One area is: click on blocks in palette, e.g. "move 10 steps": Place mouse pointer, keep it stable and click. Mouse pointer is away. Move mouse and it is back again.
It might also relate to iw1's report - Paint Editor > Import Getting the cross-hair pointer is easily reproduceable: click the select (move, modify) button and then click on the Import button. The pointer doesn't flip from arrow to cross hair until it crosses the boundary of the underlying edit area. (It doesn't flip back when moved out again.) This 'anomaly' is also in the original Scratch (I've since discovered) so, whilst interesting, is presumably one that you can ignore.
This is actually how it works in old scratch too, which doesn't make it any less of a bug.
Currently can't replicate this, hopefully meaning that system improvements have fixed it.
