nsb12, test 12 (tooltip pop up sometimes doesn't) fail
mouse over sprite in object repository: move mouse on a sprite; display is [name, number of scripts] no popup; was bubble style in earlier releases
Looks like nothing went wrong; the code is all there and on my Pi at least it actually still works.
Took my cup of coffee this morning in front of scratch: retested with two sprites in inventory. szenario: active sprite, inactive sprite. definitions: active sprite has blue border, between blue border and spritegraph there is a dark grey background.
Checked many times, and found most popups appearing; but some were missing. Here the analysis.
Good news: usually it works.
- moving cursor inside inactive sprite and stopping brings up popup in all cases.
- popup is 'scratch style, good
Bad news:
- move cursor from inactive to active sprite into dark background between blue border and spritegraph: no popup (bad). then move cursor to a point in spritegraph , no popup (bad). It seems as if some sort of state is remembered for the sprites.
The 'good' news is that it isn't anything particular to Scratch nor the Pi but a general issue in Squeak/Morphic. Of course, that is also bad news since it means fixing it will take more effort.
