Is there a known issue for PiServer being unresponsive upon launch?

Running Raspberry Pi OS Desktop for PC (2021-01-11-raspios-buster-i386.iso). After following this guide (https://github.com/raspberrypi/piserver) as well as some others, upon clicking "PiServer" under "Preferences" the application loads, but I can't click anything (acts frozen).I'm unsure how to resolve the issue. Any input would be appreciated.

Did you try reinstalling Piserver using the information of the readme "how to rebuild Piserver" ?
