Improve docs for windows

I encountered challenges building the documentation on Windows, prompting me to explore and discover a more intuitive method for the process. In my opinion, this alternative approach could be a more user-friendly option compared to the current heavyweight installer for Windows builds.

Would you be interested in receiving pull requests related to this? Additionally, do you periodically update the documentation to incorporate new insights and improvements?

And as you'll see from Appendix C in that PDF, the documentation does get updated regularly :slightly_smiling_face:
