Edit bookmarks

I'd like to suggest some features for the bookmark system in ShelfPlayer. As of now, bookmarks have pretty limited flexibility. First, bookmarks can only be accessed by going to the book's description page and scrolling down, or going to the "bookmarks" section the library. I think there needs to be a way to access bookmarks through the player screen. Adding a tap in the pop up menu when you tap the book's title would be good.image Maybe tapping on this new bookmark option could open up a bookmarks menu (instead of directing to the book's description page where you have to scroll down) like audibleimage The last suggestion to make the bookmark system more useful and flexible is to add the ability to customize bookmarks. Audible is a good example. In audible, it allows you edit the length of the bookmark, and to add an optional note to add more context or information on the bookmark. (Upon further examination, audible calls these "clips," not "bookmarks." So I don't know if this last suggestion is possible, but in case it is, I'll keep it in here)image I think these things would make the bookmark feature a lot more useful and would make me want to interact with bookmarks a lot more. Thanks for any consideration!

The bookmarks are above the chapters in the now playing view ^^ Making a "clips" feature is not supported by ABS, it only supports timestamps. I think I even implemented editing the note in the backend, i just didn't add an UI, I will look into it.

Ah! I see the bookmarks in the chapter menu like you said. Great! Thanks so much for pointing that out :D

Yeah, I've been using Prologue and been very dissatisfied with its lack of drive/running mode interface and lack of easy bookmarking and notes.

Ideally, I'd love to have an apple watch app that i can put an audiobook from plex, and be able to add timestamped voice notes (in audio and transcribed text) - as i listen to audiobooks mostly when running/driving, so been looking for something like that. Then when I get back to my computer have access to the database somehow, even via apple shortcuts would be fine, and then I can analyse everything later.

So whatever interface, I just want a play/pause button, a back five seconds button, and a record timestamped audio note button that records until i tap the screen again.

#350 is used to track bookmark exporting.
