App Version: 2.5.2 (528) The phone system is iOS 18.3.1, and the phone model is iPhone 15 Pro. Source of the App: Downloaded from Apple Store Detailed Description: Every time I click the play button, the app crashes immediately.

I am having a similar issue.

iPhone 14 Plus iOS version 18.3.2 Shelfplayer version 2.5.3 Downloaded from app store

The app crashes any time I try to load it. Since I just bought it, this is very disappointing. I can't even get to the point where I can try to play a book. Every time I try to search, tap a different part of the app, it crashes.

@rasmuslos Sometimes. Sometimes it crashes before I can do anything at all, sometimes it will let me get to a new tab, but it always crashes. I have a large library, and I am accessing it via Tailscale, but IDK if that would make any difference.

Edit: I have manually crashed the app and even tried restarting my iPhone to see if that helped. It didn't make a difference. I just downloaded it, so I don't know if this is an issue because I am on the newest version of iOS or not.

Edit 2: After returning home, I tried logging out and logging in on my home network without using tailscale. I had the same issue, so it is not an issue with accessing via Tailscale.

Please check if you still have issues in version 3.0.0, the underlying systems are entirely different and might behave better now.

This issue is used to track @A-hongchen 's issue (the app crashes when trying to play an item). https://github.com/rasmuslos/ShelfPlayer/issues/222 is used for crashes startup after login.
