bug: Can't paste text into empty description field of an Expense

Current Behavior

When I try to paste text into the description field of an Expense, it doesn't work if the field is initially empty. The paste action works only after I type something manually into the field.

Expected Behavior

I should be able to paste text even if I haven't typed anything before.

Steps to Reproduce

Open the 'Add Expense' form.

Focus the description input field.

Try pasting text without typing anything.

Nothing happens.

@jeffrey-zang This issue is fixed on the main branch. I was only able to reproduce it on the Appstore version.
