bug: App crashing when browsing insight tabs custom categories.

Dime Version

2.1.3

Current Behavior

I am using an Iphone 13 with IOS version 18.3.2. Whenever I am browsing through my custom categories expenses in the insight tabs, the application suddenly crashes. This bug has started when I updated IOS to the latest version. I was previously using IOS 17 on the latest release.

Expected Behavior

The app should not crash at all.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Dime application
  2. Create some custom categories for expenses.
  3. Add some expenses in the previous categories.
  4. Go to the insights tab and filter by monthly.
  5. Click on the different categories and scroll down.
  6. The app will now crash.

Hey @jeffrey-zang! I’ve attached a screen recording below. This bug’s currently making the app unusable for me, and I’m relying on it to manage my budget this month, so it’s a critical issue. Would really appreciate it if this could be fixed as soon as possible!

It's also quite unresponsive and laggy as you could tell, im pressing the insights tab icon as soon as i enter the app but it takes a few seconds for it to actually change tabs, in the recording im on low battery mode but i've done this with it turned off and it's the same. If you could look into this aswell that would be great!

Sorry for not uploading the video, I completely forgot about it. @iamumeransari video is the exact same problem I have. I think some change with IOS 18 is making the app crash. Before the update, everything worked smooth.

This issue seems to be fixed in the new 2.1.4 (1) version.

On the app store from Spain the latest version is 2.1.3. There is no version 2.1.4 version yet.

Same case for me, there is no version 2.1.4 available on the App Store as of now (My Apple ID region is Pakistan)

2.1.4 (1) version is only available when building the project from github.

wouldn't it make more sense to just push it as an update to the app store? can we please do that instead
