Do you know of any tools to use from the terminal? Is it possible to submit a PR to this repository to add such a capability?

I do not know of any such tool, but I would gladly take a PR adding this capability.

I'd be keen for this functionality as well.

I'd like to incorporate this into our RetroNAS project for use with linux-dexdrive block devices eventually. We offer a tui with RetroNAS atm so output would be fed to dialog or something similar from a cli version.

i do note the main page only mentions dedicated parallel port hardware, so my goals are a little lofty perhaps.
