Unable to Render properly if Tmux Background Color is Set

Environment:

• Apple M3
• OS: Sonoma 14.6.1
• Rio: Version 0.1.6 (20230528.115631)
• Tmux: 3.4

I have followed the instructions here. However, my tmux is still unable to render properly.

I narrowed down to the below two lines. If either of them is in .tmux.conf, it won't render properly. I have to remove both of them to make it work.

# active pane normal, other shaded out
set-window-option -g window-style bg=colour237
set-window-option -g window-active-style bg=black

This config works fine with other terminals like Kitty, Alacritty and others though. Is this a bug or something I missed in the config?
