Got it! re-reading wezterm code i understand, i naively thought would just need the shell for the fork/spawn 
@sztomi can you check with latest main? Besides that I believe that you mentioned the fact that should support x11 and wayland right? I tested locally and I have x11/wayland...

I think this was closed by v0.1.x release (cannot reproduce), will be closing it for now but I can reopen anything.
