Hi

I've found an very old Daikin altherma ekhbx016ab in my new home. I check the install manual but no X10A mention I think. How to be sure if ESPAltherma is compatible or not ?

Hello @dgaussin It's fairly possible that the port is not mentioned in the manual. It's only for service, not for end user. Look closely on the board. But if you cannot find the x10a port, then it's probably too old.

@dgaussin did you find your port? You can have a look at #145, it's also a very old one but has a x10a port.

Hello,

I've just connected esp32 to my old EKHB 016BB (I don't have exact model). In manual there is no X10A mentioned but when you open your Altherma and see circuit board you should see 8 pin X10A which is exactly like on photo here (8 pin X10A Connection section):

There is always a chance that model AB is different than BB. After connection ESP32 to PINs (1 +5V and 8 GND and RX TX withoud any external power source) ESP showed right away as ONLINE in MQTT
